A New House in Buin

This week was super awesome. A little different from those other weeks that we had earlier in this change.

So first of all, we moved houses. AND WE ARE LIVING LIKE KINGS. This house is brand new and is super amazing. 3 bedrooms, 3 bath, 2 floors, the kitchen is amazing, and the master is incredible, walk in closet and the bath is unreal. So this week we moved all our stuff and that took up a lot of time, but it needed to be done. Also, some of my investigators are getting married, and we told them that we would make their invitations and wow, so much work. Haha, so we are doing some things that I never thought I would do on my mission. Searching, designing and buying a house. And making wedding invitations.

Also, it was our zone conference. Which was awesome. I got the chance to have a little part and share a few things for 10ish minutes. I spoke on the Holy Ghost, and shared 2 Nephi 32:3,5,7. And in these scriptures, it talks about how the Holy Ghost will tell us what we should do, and we will receive the impressions very clearly. And then I shared this little experience that we had a few weeks ago, when the Holy Ghost gave us a SUPER clear prompting to talk with a lady, and we followed the prompting. And this lady was very prepared to accept the gospel in her life. She said that she has always wanted to talk to us, but never knew how to do it. So she was ready, with a soft and humble heart. In this first contact we taught lesson 1 (The Restoration), lesson 3 (Gospel of Jesus Christ), and invited her to be baptized on July 14th, which she gladly accepted. Her life is changing so much for the better, and all thanks to a little prompting. The little things really bring about big miracles. I know that angels declare the words of Christ, and those angels speak to us by the power of the Holy Ghost, and these words will be very clear to us if we are humble, and obedient.

I LOVE this work. I am very happy to be here doing what is right.

Peace out,
Elder Simons
